World tour 2009 ski movie premiere
Missoula, MT September 14, 2009 – Saga Outerwear and the Business Careers in Entertainment Club are proud to present the premiere of Level 1 Productions ski movie, “Refresh” World Tour 2009. The movie is showing Thursday, October first at the Elks Lounge. Tickets are seven dollars at the door and the movie begins at eight pm. There is a full bar with I.D.
Level 1 is recognized as one of the most progressive filmmakers in the ski industry. Founder, Josh Berman began making ski films during the winter of 1999-2000 after a knee injury kept him from freeskiing competitions. His first film, “Balance,” was comprised of his friends, some of the most talented pro freeskiiers in the world, over a dozen days of shooting and was signed on for international distribution and broadcast. After graduating from Dartmouth College (2001) with a B.A. in filmmaking and photography, Josh moved Level 1 offices to Denver, CO and has since taken up production as a full time venture. Level 1 captures the most innovative and pioneering aspects of the sport and strives to push the direction of skiing further with each of their award-winning releases.
Level 1 looks back and challenges views of where the sport has come from and where it’s going in their 10th feature ski movie. They offer some of the most diverse ski entertainment that can be found. “Refresh” captures some of the sport’s most pronounced and gifted skiiers. There is no shortage of deep powder and daunting jumps. You can expect to find terrain park action, urban exploits, and steep lines just in time to prepare you for the upcoming season.
About BCEC – The Business Careers in Entertainment Club is a student run organization that works to provide job opportunities, information, and experience to students interested in the business aspects of the entertainment industry. Since the founding of the Business Careers in Entertainment Club at the University of Montana in 2008, it has welcomed an increasing number of entertainers and events to Missoula.
